I just want to give everyone 2 good arguments for siding with the imperials.
Siding with stormcloaks or imperials.
You get light or heavy armors with the imperials but only two sets of light armor with the stormcloaks.
This is a factual observation.
Most groups were more motivated by the desire to stop the thalmor but liberal imperials were ever so slightly more motivated into siding with the empire because of the racism of the stormcloaks.
The imperial legion see the stormcloaks as traitors for wishing to secede from the empire and ulfric s killing of high king torygg.
Being someone who is adamant in neutrality i get to see how similar people who supports imperials are with the stormcloaks.

Honestly i think canon is meant for the player to side with the stormcloaks and push the imperials out because i believe the next elder scrolls game is going to be about a prisoner.

One of those stormcloak armor sets is bugged so it doesn t recognize it as a complete light armor set.

Conservative imperials were the least sensitive to racism and the most likely to be interested in keeping the empire together to defeat the thalmor.

Siding with the stormcloaks makes no sense they would be unwittingly letting in the elves that they so hated.
