Sims 4 Wont Let Me Place Roof

I tried to visit the house as a different household and it said to move in a household from the gallery.

Sims 4 wont let me place roof.

Sims 4 star wars. I m currently roofless and i can t figure out why. It says you can choose auto roof but when i do that i only get the very front of the roof or the very back of the roof and not the rest. My theory is that the game hasn t completely registered that your household lives in that house.

The sims 4 is built on a grid system so objects snap to place on that grid by default. Having some difficulties with ceilings roofing. That works in many cases but not where you just have an open gap in your roof and haven t defined the area above as a room. So i can t add a roof to most of my house.

Every wall connects properly but when i hit the up arrow to go to the second level only part of my house has a ceiling. Technical issues pc. That leads to awkward looking stuff like garbage cans sitting conspicuously far from walls. Now i cant even build a second floor because the game wont let me. But when i moved a portion of the house a room and placed it far from the main build it won t let me place a roof.

View entire discussion 6 comments. Walls wont place and when i hover over the first floor it places the wall underneath in the first floor. Can t place roof ceiling disappears by underlanddgtl. If i tried to place one on the first floor it would place it on the ground.

Players wondering why the sims 4 won t let me place doors may be surprised to find the answer is most likely not a problem with the game itself but with their installed community created. When i turn off the auto roof it doesn t allow me to build a roof on my own.
